Jazmine Sullivan performed to a sold out crowd at KOKO in London this past weekend. Yes that’s right, she’s back. It’s been three years since Jazmine has made any music. In 2012, following her album, Love Me Back, Jazmine announced via twitter that’s he was taking a ‘break’ from music.
I’m making an official announcement that i am taking a break from music. i’m trying to figure out who i am… w/out a mike, paper or pen. I promised myself that when it wasn’t fun anymore i wouldn’t do it. and here i am. i’m not saying i wont ever sing again in my life becuz i dont believe that. but in this moment… rt now… i got some things to figure out.
During her show she announced that she was working on her 3rd album and that new music would be released soon. I hope that she is back because her music is AMAZING! The R&B female scene needs all the vocals it can get. Excited to hear new music from her.
