Another award show has come and gone and as much as I convinced myself that I wouldn’t be watching this years BET Awards, I ended up watching. The show was hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson with a whole bunch of fluff and mediocre performances in between.
I won’t touch base on every performance, but let’s get into my favorites.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is taking it back to the 90s with his new album that he has in the works. I’m not talking about taking it back to the 90s musically because no music has surfaced, just yet, but he’s going back to his original stage mantra, Puff Daddy.
This will be the first time Diddy will be going back to Puff Daddy since he dropped the name in 2001. This project will also be his first SOLO project since 2006s, Press Play.

Today (March 9th) also marks the 17th anniversary of his death. Producer !llmind joins B.I.G. & Jay Z on a track of ‘Skys the Limit’ merging with ‘Picasso Baby.’
